This site is dedicated to the memory of my grandfather, Mose Umbrell, and all the veterans of the 35th Engineer (Combat) Battalion. I hope that you will enjoy your visit to THEIR site.
Here, you should find a wealth of information about the 35th and its history from 1940 through 1945. I hope to take you on a journey into the lives of the men of this fine engineer outfit. Please visit each of the photo albums as you read the unit's history and the accounts of the veterans. This should be an enjoyable and educational experience
